Voodoo is the second album by Virginia singer/musician Michael Archer, better known simply as D'Angelo. This was his second album released in 2000 and he didn't release a follow-up until late 2014. Brown Sugar (Instrumental) Download MP3 Uploaded. D'Angelo's smash debut album now gets the deluxe treatment in a 2-CD set that includes the original album and 21 bonus tracks, all remastered by D's engineer Russell Elevado. Housed in a lavish digipak, it also features a 20-page booklet with rare photographs from the EMI Archives, lyrics for all original LP tracks, and an essay by noted author. Voodoo is one of my favorite albums ever. 2000 was a fantastic year for great musicians making their boldest, most ambitious steps on albums. Erykah Badu, Radiohead, Stankonia, and D'Angelo all went out on the furthest limbs of their careers and I think Erykah and D'Angelo made their best albums because of it.
